Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward for what lies ahead....

Today's devotion was given by Dennis Coggins, scripture reference Philippians 3:10-16.  We all need to leave the past behind us and keep what we have of God, and move forward to what God has in store for us.   We are surely moving forward with this project.

As soon as breakfast was over, we went straight to work attaching rebar and wire mesh to the roof, to increase the support for the concrete we will pour in the morning.  It seems we keep doing and redoing work, but it's all necessary to complete the job.   We run on Tico Time here, meaning there's no need to get in any hurry, because we work only as fast as our Mission Team liason here in Costa Rica will let us.  He is guiding us through according to how they do things here, and we're adjusting.   We're used to moving on and our brothers here are not quite as driven as we are used to.  Not that the work isn't getting done, it is.  It's just a different pace.   We are now done with the prep, and we're ready for concrete.  We are done a little early today so we're going to turn in early.  6:00am will come sooner than we want, so we need all the sleep we can get.   Thanks to Jason and George for working late and tying up the loose ends.  You two rock!!
We appreciate all of your prayers... we feel them daily.   We're missing our families, but God is not done with us yet.  We are sharing with each other and building friendships we didn't have before.   Looking forward to seeing the fruit of our labor..........

God is good to us... keeping us safe and keeping you all safe.   We appreciate your comments, and we are encouraged knowing that you are watching us.
